Caring for homes across
01 — The gap
National franchises and on-demand marketplaces are built to cover as many homes as possible with as few constraints as possible. That works beautifully for a rental turnover. It does not work when the counter is honed Calacatta, the fittings are unlacquered brass and the rug is hand-knotted wool. So we picked the narrow lane instead.
Who actually shows up
Luxora — The same two-person team, matched to your household for the life of the membership.
Elsewhere — Whoever the local franchise rosters that week. A different bidder each booking.
Training
Luxora — 12 written protocols by material: marble, brass, limestone, oak, wool, bouclé, lacquer.
Elsewhere — One general checklist applied to every home. Self-declared experience.
Your finishes
Luxora — Home materials survey before visit one, plus $2M finish-and-object cover.
Elsewhere — Generic product on unknown surfaces. Risk sits with you.
Booking & changes
Luxora — Online in 90 seconds — reschedule, pause or add on without a phone call.
Elsewhere — Call the branch during office hours. Rebook and re-explain your home each time.
Pricing
Luxora — One flat monthly membership. Add-ons quoted up front.
Elsewhere — Per-visit quotes that drift upward. Hourly, with surge and cancellation fees.
02 — Care protocols
Your home survey maps every finish to a protocol. Each one specifies the product, the cloth, the pressure and the drying method — so the same result happens whether or not anyone is home.
pH-neutral products only, no acidic all-purpose spray. We log sealant age per surface and flag re-seal windows before etching starts.
Jute, sisal and wool are dry-lifted, never soaked. Bouclé and linen upholstery get low-suction passes with a soft brush head.
Unlacquered brass and living finishes are hand-dried, never scoured. Glass and stone get separate cloths, colour-coded per room.
Percale and linen changed to your fold, cashmere shelved not hung, and a quiet reset of nightstands exactly as you left them.
03 — How it works
A 40-minute walkthrough where we record every finish — counters, floors, fittings, rugs, art — and build your home's care file.
You're matched with one lead and one second. Same faces, same key protocol, every visit. If the match isn't right, we rematch once, free.
Biweekly by default. Adjust, pause, or stack an add-on from your dashboard — no phone calls, no renegotiating the price.
04 — Memberships
Priced above mass-market services on purpose — employed teams, specialist training and real cover cost more to deliver, and they are the whole point.

“A home like this doesn’t need more cleaning. It needs the right cleaning, from people who already know where everything goes.”
The Luxora standard
05 — Reviews
“We chose our counters for how they look in winter light, not for how easy they are to wipe. Luxora was the first service that asked what the stone was before touching it.”
“Two people, every fortnight, who already know the house. I stopped writing instructions after the second visit — that alone is worth the membership.”
“The quarterly condition report caught a dulling patch on the unlacquered brass before I ever noticed it. That is a different category of service.”

06 — Questions
Still unsure whether your home is a fit? Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you honestly — we turn down homes we can’t serve properly.
Franchises optimise for coverage: one checklist, a rotating roster, a per-visit quote. We optimise for a narrow segment — design-led homes with specialist finishes. That means a materials survey before we start, twelve written protocols by surface type, and the same two people every visit so nothing has to be re-explained.
Because consistency is the product. A flat monthly membership lets us hold a fixed team and fixed windows for your home, and it removes the quote-by-quote drift that makes per-visit pricing unpredictable. Most households land on The Signature at $480 a month.
Every visit is carried out by insured, background-checked employees — not contractors — with $2M of finish-and-object cover. If a surface or object is damaged during a visit, we handle restoration directly rather than sending you to file a claim.
Yes. Pause for travel, shift a window, upgrade or downgrade — all online, no phone call, no cancellation fee. Add-on credits roll over for one month so a skipped week is never wasted.
Always. We carry a fixed, low-fragrance kit chosen for specialist finishes: pH-neutral stone cleaner, dedicated brass and glass cloths, HEPA vacuums with soft-brush heads. If you prefer specific products, we note them in your home file and use those instead.
We're opening with 45 founding households in a single metro area, then expanding neighbourhood by neighbourhood as we can staff dedicated teams — with a path to 340 households by year three. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you where you sit in the queue.
